WOW – WHAT AN EVENT!
174 catamarans have been gracing the Austrian Lake Neusiedl this week with one of Europe’s most important regattas of the year – The Hobie Cat MultiEuropean Championships.
Wildwind have joined forces with VR Sport to video the final days of the event which includes racing across 7 different Hobie cat classes.from the highly original single handed Hobie 14, to the F18 Hobie Tiger and Wildcats as well as all the classes in between – Hobie Youth Dragoon; Hobie 16 for Youths, Womens, Masters and Grand Masters; Hobie 16 with spi; and of course the most widely represented fleet, the classic Hobie 16, the world’s most popular catamaran.
We’ll be posting a full update of the days racing at the end of the event, with a brief daily update on Facebook here - but if you’d like to see the footage of the thrills and spills every day then bookmark the VRsport page here…
